Rene Rivas filmed and produced our 2017 Blues and Brews video. Rene did a great job of capturing moments throughout the festival that all added up to one great video. After the first draft, we were able to give him our vision and the end result was exactly what we wanted. Rene not only looks at a festival through a photographer’s eye, he understands the promotional and marketing value needed by the producers. When Le Trebuchet decided to enter NPR's Tiny Desk Contest there were only a few weeks left before the deadline to submit a video. After talking it over we decided to ask Rene to film and produce it. Not only did he have the technical know-how to achieve a great video, he also was incredibly efficient to work with. It was our first experience making a video and his easy going persona made shooting void of stress and very fun. When we were unsure about how to execute our ideas he gave us clear vision and direction. In post production he was able to get the video together beautifully and quicker than we could have imagined possible. We have ideas for our next video but the one thing we will be doing for sure is working with Rene. Thanks Rene!

I won’t let my 15+ year friendship weigh in when I say that Rene and his work is first class. He is professional, creative and simply amazing at what he does. The coverage from my wedding felt as though he had a a full team of videographers. Rene literally captured every special moment. Originally we weren’t sure that a videographer would fit into our wedding budget, but after speaking with Rene about how this would be a piece that we would treasure for lifetimes to come, we couldn’t imagine not having him. The day was so fleeting, that it was difficult to remember all of the little details that made L'Auberge come to life, until my husband and I watched the video. It was like reliving the day all over again. I can honestly say that I get the same feeling I had when I walked down the aisle every time I watch it.
Rene is truly dedicated to his work and the end product. It poured rain on my wedding day and Rene reassured me that despite the risk of his equipment being ruined from the elements, that we would walk away with a video that we would cherish.
